Willows Sports Centre Derby
We do fun. We do community. And of course, we do sport.
As you'd expect from us here at Willows indoor sports centre, we're passionate about getting more people in Derby enjoying all kinds of sports - five A-side football, netball, indoor cricket, and now Futsal.
Whether you regularly play sport in Derby and are looking for a bit of competition, or haven't played sport since school and want to ease yourself back into it, we offer a warm welcome to everyone.
More fun than the gym, and no lycra required!
Some people love running on treadmills while staring at a TV screen in a gym. But that's not our thing. We love team sports and having fun. Getting fit at the same time is an added bonus.
We're so easy to get to - for everyone
Willows Sports Centre is in Derby's Cathedral Quarter. We're right in the centre of the city, and easily accessible from the new ring road, A52, A38 and all major routes into Derby. And we've got good parking facilities too (link to car parking page).
If you're not driving, all bus routes terminate close to the city centre, so we'll be within walking distance of your stop.
If you're a student at the University, we are just a few minutes' walk from most halls of residence and the Student Quarter.

We're looking better every day
Thanks to generous funding from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), we're refurbishing Willows Sports Centre bit by bit over the next few months. So starting today, you'll benefit from new facilities and equipment, and by Summer 2011 you won't even recognise the place!
A community space
We want to share our facilities with Derby's community. So as well as the sports leagues, we offer great value kids parties, venue hire, pitch hire, and corporate days out - all in an ideal location in the centre of Derby. So when you're organising your next event, consider hosting it at Willows Sports Centre.
Schools that want to use our facilities - for PE lessons for instance - are especially welcome.
