Netball at Willows
Play netball - any day that suits you.
Here at Willows Sports Centre, we can't get enough netball! We run leagues every day of the week except Saturday, so whatever your other commitments, there should always be a day that suits you.
Whether it's for the winning, or the taking part
With over 15 netball divisions, there's definitely one to suit your level of experience. Whether you're super-competitive or haven't played netball for years, everyone's welcome and we can help you find the right netball league for your team.
Join a netball league, and then just turn up
We'll organise everything for you: equipment, umpires, bibs, fixtures. All you need to do is get a netball team together and enter it into one of our leagues.
Even if you haven't got a team, put your name down and we'll help you find one. It's a great opportunity to meet new people, get fitter and do something more interesting with your evenings or weekends.
Shout about your results immediately
Our fantastic online results system and plasma screen scoreboards mean that as soon as the final whistle blows, the result will be immediately posted to our website and Twitter profile. So you can share the highs and lows of your team's performance with the world, and keep an eye on the results of your rivals.
The main netball leagues are:
Within each league there are usually various divisions, so teams are organised by experience and ability.
Great netball facilities, that are only getting better.
We've got up to three 5/6 a-side netball courts, and one 7 a-side netball court. They are all floodlit, indoor carpeted courts, so you can enjoy playing netball in all weathers and at all hours.
There are also changing rooms and a bar where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat before or after your netball match. Just what you need if you're rushing straight from work, or if you just want to celebrate (or commiserate) with your team mates afterwards!
Plus, we're in the process of refurbishing the entire sports centre, thanks to funding from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), so you'll benefit from much improved facilities in the next few months.
